A fantastic night of music, song and dance was had in the Farnham Arms Hotel with members of Cavan Town CCE playing host to Kilmurray CCE from Co. Clare.  Cavan Town youth members were assisted by more experienced performers also with All Ireland talent such as Fergus Bogue and Seamus Fay.  The young visitors from Clare showed great interest as you will see from the photos in the art of lilting as demonstrated by a master such as Seamus.  Kilmurray treated the crowd to a performance of music, song, sean nos and Irish poetry.  It was a fantastic display of talent from Clare and the night ended with both branches taking to the floor.  Many thanks to parents and committee who made arrangements for refreshments and the very popular Easter Egg prizes.  We wish Kilmurray well with their tour which brings them on to Derry, Letterkenny and Sligo before returning home to Clare.  It was a great visit and hopefully it will mark the start of more visits to share music and develop friendships among the youth within the branch.
