Shetland’s 25th Accordion & Fiddle l was held between 11th – 15th October 2012. The Festival is now well into its third decade and mainly concentrates on music provided by Shetland’s two most popular instruments – the accordion and the fiddle. Musicians from all over the world performed at the event, including the Donohoe family, Martin, Savannah, Keenan and Zoran who played to sold out venues. Tunes are swapped and musicians make new friends in the sessions that are an important part of the festival; younger musicians find them especially valuable in broadening their experience.
