Ed Reavy 2023 Festival
The Ed Reavy Traditional Music festival runs for 3 days at venues in Cavan Town including The Town Hall Theatre, The festival features Concerts, Exhibitions, Music & Singing Sessions, A Set Dancing Céilí as well as The Ed Reavy International Fiddle Competition, both Senior and Junior.
We are really appreciative of the continued support that we receive each year from our principle sponsors EirGrid and Comhaltas – without their support, it would not be possible to run this event.
Friday night, we are thrilled to have The Blackwater Céilí Band for our Sets Céilí – entry is €12, payment on the door and refreshments will be served.
Our Saturday night concert will take place at 8pm in the Town Hall Theatre, Cavan and features Mícheál Ó’Raghallaigh, Macdara Ó’Raghallaigh and Danny O’Mahony, with support from The Breffni Trad Orchestra and the 2023 Ed Reavy International Fiddle winners.

Over the weekend, we will be hosting 12 Sessions at various venues throughout the town – McGinnity’s Bar, Blessings Bar, JP’s Bar, The Black Horse and The Abbey with a host of Session Leaders – follow us on Facebook or Instagram for more information.
