On Friday September 21st 2012 locals and visitors across the island of Ireland will enjoy the unique experience of Culture Night, a free night of entertainment, discovery and adventure taking place in a record 34 towns, cities, counties and islands in Ireland. Museums, galleries, churches, historic houses, artists’ studios and cultural centres will open their doors late into the evening welcoming people of all ages to taste and sample their cultural delights for free on the evening. Cavan will participate for it’s second year in this great national event. 

Cavan Town Comhaltas will perform at the ‘In Context’ Exhibition where members of Rianta Art showcasing their work.   All members are welcome to come and join in this exciting collaboration which will also feature the muisc of the  Cavan Sinfonia:. This will be a night of varied artistic and musical expression reflected in not only the art on view but in the variety of music performed which will range from jazz to traditional, popular, classical and more!

 Venue: The Backyard Arts Centre, Moynehall, Cavan Time: 7.30pm Recital, 8.30pm Exhibition Opening
Admission is FREE  and refreshments are served.
