The Fleadh may be over but local group Gleo are not resting on their laurels following their well received debut performance supporting Full Set during Fleadh Cheoil 2012 local.  This Saturday 8th September at 8.00 p.m. in the Town Hall Gleo will perform tracks from the Cavan Connections CD which was launced during the Fleadh.  The night promises to raise our spirits with acts such as the McGovern Family, Fintan McManus, Aoife Murray, Deirdre Reilly, Dara Smith, Kieran Tackney, the Geoghegan family and the Breifni Groupa Cheoil.  Proceds from the night will go to a very worthy local charity which supports children with disabilities in our own county.  Enable Ireland, Cavan is raising funds for the Childrens Services Hydrotherapy Pool to provide therapy for children at their newly built centre at Corlurgan.  A great local cause, fantastic local acts, Cavan people doing it for themselves, so shake off the September blues and join in the craic at 8.00 p.m. in the Town Hall on Saturday.
